| Full News Story: The Xenium line of Xbox mods was designed and manufactured by a team known as OzXodus. OzXodus is actually a collaboration between the "Ozchip" and "Xodus" designers. Ozchip was famous for building high quality, low cost xbox modchips, and Xodus was famous for designing high quality, user friendly modchips such as the first solderless modchip, the Matrix xbox mod (and later the Chameleon mod). When these two teams got together, OzXodus was born, and Xenium is their first product line. A few months ago, the original Xenium mods were released. These are amazing chips, and currently they are my personal favorite. But recently, the OzXodus team introduced the limited edition Xenium Ice modchip, which is a really cool looking version of the Xenium. Also, the Xenium Ice is available in a solderless version, which means that if you are new to the xbox mod scene, and don't want to threaten the life of your precious xbox by holding a hot soldering iron to its brain, then a no solder Xenium Ice is precisely the modchip you should be considering. The Xenium Ice is slam packed with the latest modchip features, including the Xenium Operating System (Xenium OS), which makes flashing it with a hacked bios such as the Evox bios painless. It also makes backing up your eeprom files a snap. Of great importance is that the Xenium Ice is Xbox version 1.6 compatible, which means that it will work with every xbox version known to exist. Unfortunately, all of this quality and cutting edge features does come at a cost. The Xenium Ice Solderless version is relatively expensive - usually available for about $60 US. But, if you're looking for the best xbox chip, and the easiest to install, then the Xenium Ice Solderless is the chip that I recommend right now. Also, where you purchase your chip is extremely important because there are so many sketchy xbox modchip retailers.
